Curious about the Wim Hof Method and the potential benefits it can give you?

Then this event is a nice place to begin your journey.
The event will include a short introduction to the Wim Hof Method and the three pillars (breathing exercises, cold exposure, and commitment. Followed by practical breathing exercises. There will be a focus on inner connection and listening.

About the Breathwork:

The Breathwork session will combine different breathing techniques and is for anyone interested and curious about self-exploration and the nature of the mind.  Participants may enter a non-ordinary state of consciousness, where you can have different experiences. It can be physical relaxation, visions, emotional release, a feeling of deep connection or a spiritual experience. 

Dynamic & improvised – gongs, singing bowls and other instruments will be played live, to help induce a deep journey within. The experienced facilitators will be highly attentive to the energy of the individual, as well as the collective.

This workshop is suitable for everyone but does require a basic level of health. Out of precaution, we advise against participation during pregnancy, or if you are epileptic.

People with cardiovascular issues, or any other serious health conditions should always consult a medical professional before doing Breathwork.Bring comfortable clothes, eye mask, and a yoga mat.It is recommended not to ingest food 2 hours beforehand, as we’re working with various aspects of the sympathetic- & parasympathetic nervous system.

 ABOUT THE FACILITATORS

Michael Boserup is a curious being, who is always eager to learn and up for a challenge.  He holds a Master of Science in Industrial Medicine, a Yoga Alliance Certificate and he is a Wim Hof Method instructor. His teaching has an emphasis on inner connection and love.

Michael also facilitates “Sacred Breathwork” journeys in collaboration with the church of Vesterbro. 

Emanuel Elischa shares a deep fascination for the natural world around him. His expressions come in various forms: He holds a Master of Arts in Music Performance and Artistic Research, and further is currently in education to become a Vitalist Practitioner in Botanical Medicine. The discovery of Breathwork in his life is invaluable and thus the continuous exploration of merging his artistic expression with ritual spaces and healing practices come in many shapes and colors.
